Penetration Testing

Penetration testing is a fundamental aspect of any risk management strategy. It provides a snapshot of your business’s current risk profile – where your vulnerabilities lie, how severe they are, what impact they could have if exploited, how easy they are to mitigate and much more.

What is Penetration Testing?

Penetration Testing is effectively a method of assessing how hardened your business is to hackers and cyber threats. Highly skilled cyber security consultants imitate the actions of a malicious hacker in an attempt to compromise one or more of your business assets. A report is produced at the conclusion of a penetration test that will detail all of the areas, technical or procedural, where your business is vulnerable to attack.

How will this help me?

The report will include a wealth of information that will allow you to analyse each vulnerability in detail. With this information you are able to plan and prioritise the steps you need to take to mitigate each vulnerability to a point where the risk is acceptable; ultimately reducing the risk of your business being compromised and embarrassed. A business that remains un-compromised is a happy business.

Why Sero Security?

Here at Sero Security penetration testing is in our blood! Being a small boutique company based in Hampshire, United Kingdom, we are able to invest time and resources where it really matters – research and training. This means keeping up-to-date with the latest vulnerabilities, threats and exploits. For us, there is nothing more exciting than analysing a new exploit to see how it works and what impact it could have. Being so passionate about penetration testing means we are always at the cutting edge and able to deliver a penetration test that best simulates the most current and advanced hacking techniques and emerging threats.
